In a historical day, the Left and Workers’ Front won a national deputy representing Mendoza province that will give workers and youth a voice.
FIT candidate Nicolás del Caño obtained a seat in congress, which was in dispute with the Front of the Victory candidate (from the government party). The Left and Workers’ Front also won a seat in the provincial senate which will be represented by Noelia Barbeito (PTS).
The Left and Workers’ Front won three seats in the provincial parliament, , Martín Dalmau (PO) in the first district, Cecilia Soria (PTS) in the second district, and Hector Tito Fresina (PO) in the third district.
The Left and Workers’ Front also won councillors in the following districts in the o outskirts of the Mendoza province: Guaymallen, * (Federico Telera -PO), Las Heras* (Ulises Jimenez - PTS), Maipú* (Paúl Lecea - PTS), Luján de Cuyo* (Facundo Terraza - PO) and Godoy Cruz* (Martin Baigorria - PTS).
